Purchased from an antique shop in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this pair was likely produced between 1973 and 1985 by OCA, the renowned Brazilian furniture manufacturer founded by the designer. Both chairs feature the original OCA pyrography mark on the back, attesting to their authenticity.

The chairs showcase a solid hardwood structure (commonly attributed to high-quality Brazilian hardwood, often referred to as jacarandá) with natural leather sling seats. One of the most remarkable features of the Kilin design is its fully demountable construction, made possible by exceptional wood joinery — a hallmark of Sérgio Rodrigues’ work.

The pair was professionally restored prior to purchase, preserving the integrity of the original design. They are in excellent vintage condition, with no major defects, and display only light, age-appropriate wear consistent with careful use.
