This lovely Native American piece was created by Maria Martinez and her son, Popovi Da, in the San Ildefonso Pueblo and the 1950's.
Feather patterns on Native American pottery symbolize honor, strength, freedom, communication, and connection to the spiritual world.
The piece shows signs of normal wear but there is one chip and a small line chip towards the outer edge - please see photograph.
