A pair of Ben upholstered armchairs designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, Netherlands, circa late 1980s–1990s.
The chairs are characterised by their compact, sculptural form, with a continuous upholstered shell that integrates the back, arms, and seat into a single fluid volume. The low, enveloping profile is typical of Paulin’s approach to comfort-led modernism, combining strong visual identity with relaxed seating. The chairs rest on discreet metal glides, maintaining a clean, grounded appearance.
