Up for sale is a very nice quality antique 19th century Art Nouveau gilt bronze writing inkwell stand.
It's made … Read more Up for sale is a very nice quality antique 19th century Art Nouveau gilt bronze writing inkwell stand.
It's made of very thick gold gilded bronze, is a heavy piece, and done with very elaborate detailing throughout.
It has a hinged lid with a removable glass insert but one side of the hinge has broken off. It is still attached but does wiggle.
The stand is in nice condition and measures 9 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches back to front by 4 1/2 inches tall.
It has acquired a lovely patina from age and does have some dark spots. See less
