QUADRANGULAR VASE in hand-blown white glass with an opalescent ground, acid-etched/frosted, featuring a naturalistic floral décor. The design is hot-enameled in polychrome and heightened with gilded foliage, showcasing a blooming anemone in violet tones.
The rim is adorned with a gilded band; the pontil mark on the underside of the base has been meticulously ground smooth.

Thick enamel applied by hand with a brush; a piece that is both highly decorative and of exceptional quality (luxury production).


Produced by Master Glassmaker François-Théodore LEGRAS (1839–1916), established at the Verrerie de Saint-Denis (Île-de-France).

MONTJOYE range (one of the most prestigious lines of the Legras production).

Signature: Located on the underside of the base, featuring the gilded crest (the "Montjoye" mark accompanied by the mention "L. & cie" for Legras and Company).

An extremely rare and beautiful piece of antique craftsmanship; decorative and, above all, of superior quality. A fine collector's item.


Overall, the vase is in excellent general condition.

There are no chips, cracks, or damage; the décor is well-preserved with no loss of enamel. The colors remain vivid and unfaded, the glass is clear (no clouding or "sickness"), and the gilding is largely intact and bright.
