Edouard manet (1832-1883) exotic flower (or the woman with the mantilla) 1869 original etching signed in the plate on vellum 36 x 26 cm references: - guérin catalog raisonné #51 - fisher catalogue raisonné #46 information: limited to 350 unnumbered copies. The engraving was published by alphonse lemerre in paris for the portfolio "sonnets et eaux fortes". Good condition, slight handling mark and yellowing at the edge of the sheet this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
