It … Read more Humlebaek Keramik was a well-known ceramics design firm in Denmark. This piece likely dates from the mid 20th century. It features two happy looking elephants playing under palm trees. They are perfectly incised and outlined in red. The blue and cream glaze is smooth, shiny and intact. The vase has a gracefull pillar-like shape ending in a widely flared top. It is a sophisticated piece, suggestive of the late Art Deco era. The condition is excellent. The mark on the bottom is H K, the signature mark of Humlebaek keramik. See less
