Pair of authentic Barcelona lounge chairs in white leather and 304 polished stainless frames originally designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and manufactured by Knoll. This pair is from 1999 and maintains original Knoll labels and the steel is inscribed under the seat of both chairs. A true collectors set.
This is the most premium version available, crafted from non-magnetic, premium-grade 304 stainless steel bar stock – not chrome-plated like most others. The frame is hand-buffed to a mirror finish and constructed with stainless steel screws (rather than rivets) securing the leather straps. These features provide not only a superior aesthetic but also greater durability and resistance to rust. The stainless steel version is significantly heavier as well.
