From the 'Text Photograph' Series started in 2018, these editioned prints feature landscape photographs taken by Emily. Continuing exploration of text in art, the scenes are overlaid with borrowed or original words - popular sayings, quotes, or thoughts - in a bright, but slightly transparent color. The scenery is familiar, but abstracted and distracted by the text that demands our attention.
