A substantial and elegant antique Limoges porcelain dinnerware service by Wm. Guérin & Co. (WG), featuring richly raised gold-encrusted decoration, refined floral and geometric borders, and classic French formality. This offering represents a rare opportunity to acquire a large, cohesive, multi-course service suitable for formal entertaining, holiday tables, or decorative display.
Produced in Limoges, France in the early 20th century, this set was created using fine porcelain blanks by Wm. Guérin & Co. and decorated for export. The pattern features a raised gold floral rim, an inner chain motif, and a central rosette medallion on most pieces. The gold remains dimensional and luminous, giving the service excellent visual presence and elegance on the table.
The set includes 53 matching pieces, forming a generous service with multiple plate sizes, a soup course, saucers, and six matching tea cups, making it both beautiful and highly usable.
