Striking vintage raku studio pottery vase dating to the 1980s, featuring a sculptural, organic form with a wide flared rim and dramatic three-lobed opening. This piece showcases classic raku firing characteristics, including smoky carbonization, iridescent metallic hues, and rich earth-toned glaze transitions in copper, bronze, charcoal, deep red, and subtle blue-green notes. The surface has a beautifully tactile, matte-to-satin finish with natural crackling and color variation typical of hand-fired raku ceramics. Elevated on a sculptural tri-foot base, this vessel works equally well as an art object, statement centerpiece, or collector’s studio pottery display.
