This beauty’s size is perfect for use as a sewing or light crafts storage basket or to simply display as an eye-catching decorative accent. Handwoven rattan with an artful diagonal and continuous square netting tight weave pattern on the exterior, while on the interior, you’ll find a diamond diagonal and double diagonal motif. Colors are natural rattan and an umber hue on the exterior while the interior is a natural rattan hue with a lightly lacquered finish. The top’s underside lip and the basket’s rim are finished with double bent rattan lashes which provides a snug fit. This beauty weighs 12 oz. and measures as follows:

Overall: 5 /2” x 10” x 10” H/W/D
Interior: 3¼” x 9½” x 9½” H/W/D;

In excellent condition, structurally sound with age-appropriate wear. Though the label is no longer affixed this beauty was made in China sometime in the early 1970s. There is no makers mark. Note, photographed in the round to show all sides and nuances of the design and construction throughout.

Whether used for storing sewing or light craft accoutrements or as a whimsical design element on any table or vanity top, this superbly charming handwoven whatnot basket box will complement most any design sensibility.
