A pair of antique Paul Herzel bronze clad metal pirate , Buccaneer bookends- both are signed.
From the sticker still on the bottom of one bookend- they were purchased at The Burrows Brothers Company in Cleveland, Ohio which was open from 1873 through 1993. Herzel died in 1956. He produced most of his pirate bookends from the 1910s to 1930s.
