Please check my other listings and look to see the other one that matches this! This is a fine image of a French horse carriage with an unusual rope suspension and the portiere rides behind. I can't read French very well but that what the text seems to say. The text at the bottom is the contact information for the carriage company, Jacques L'Esperance? The engraving has slight smudges /surface scuffs that doesn't affect the image. The matte has small holes and is tears in the upper left corner (see photo). There is a hanging wire on the back of the matte. The engraving is from the 18th century. The plate is 9. 3/8" X 15. 1/2" and the matte is 16" X 22". Any questions, please ask before buying! See less
