Showcasing very high-quality craftsmanship, luxurious design, and the finest materials, likely part of the Historic Charleston Collection, finished in early 19th century Federalist taste, this exceptionally executed antique reproduction crafted of mahogany solid wood construction and bookmatched figured mahogany top with rich grain patterns, lustrous warmth and depth, with a contrasting string and crossbanded border to create a visually striking yet elegant refined appearance.

Having a rectangular tabletop flanked by a pair of drop-leaf panel extensions, operated independently each side flap lifts to create a larger D-shaped or oval surface, each leave raised on a quality wooden hinge support with built-in anti-wobble height adjustable pins.

The solid mahogany case fitted with a long dovetailed bow-front drawer that provides spacious storage, affixed with a polished brass ring pull, surrounded by simple molded trim, flanked by a pair of blonde mahogany inlaid plaques, all raised on four fluted tapered squared legs terminating in patinated brass capped feet.
