The front features a softly matte gold surface adorned with diagonal linear engraving and foliate motifs. The bail has complementary leaf patterns.

The reverse side bears an elaborate hand-engraved monogram in ornate Gothic style script. The locket tests 14K as does the bail. The patina on the bail is darker, more oxidized. The locket closes tightly and retains one of its original picture covers. Condition is excellent.
