The space under the seat can also simply be used for storage. Mennonite furniture of this type features a simple, durable folk design; this piece has slightly curved arms and inset pine panels. Mennonite furniture is valued for its quality, traditional look, and history. This bench/ trundle bed is most likely from the early 20th century. Dimensions are 62" long x 25" wide x 32" high.
