1915 Neo-Classic silhouette print titled "Where Terpsichore Dwells" by Boris Major in its original frame. The print features two silhouetted figures dancing, symbolizing Terpsichore, the Greek Muse of Dance.

Boris Major was born in 1876 in Elisabethgrad, Russia. He studied art in Russia and at the Academy of Art in Munich, Germany. The triangular composition unifies the strong horizontals and verticals of the design. This lovely print of the silhouette of two dancers in the background of a stunning sunset and the silhouette of a delicate tree to represent of the flourishing of life, this is a truly poetic art piece.
