It has been stripped to the frame and rebuilt to exceed original comfort and durability standards. Frame & Finish: The solid wood frame was cleaned, sanded, and refinished using professional-grade performance black paint for a smooth, durable, high-sheen finish. Gold Detailing: Hand-applied gold accents have been added to the architectural finials and backrest details, sealed for longevity. Interior Construction: All original 50+ year-old internal materials were removed. The chair features entirely new high-density foam and padding on both the seat and the backrest, providing a firm yet plush "like-new" seating experience. Upholstery: Professionally upholstered in a designer black and gold peacock-motif fabric. The application is tight and precise, finished with custom white and gold decorative welting along all seams. Structural Integrity Stability: The frame is structurally sound, stable, and level. No wobbles or loose joints.
