This pair of mid-century saucers was produced by Charles Ahrenfeldt in Limoges, France between 1945 and 1969. Each piece is made of fine French porcelain and finished with a wide 22K gold-encrusted border, accented by an inner gold pin line typical of Ahrenfeldt’s postwar luxury services.
The forms are refined and lightweight, reflecting the high-temperature firing processes associated with Limoges production. The underside displays the Ahrenfeldt decorator’s mark used during this period, confirming origin and workshop.
These saucers present well as replacements or additions to mid-century French table services and align with collectors seeking authenticated Limoges porcelain.
