Antique hand-cast bronze head of a Buddhist bodhisattva in the Tibetan/Nepalese tradition.
The figure features a serene closed-eye expression, elongated earlobes, urna (third eye), and an elaborate crown with foliate and flame-form elements. Cast in a copper alloy using the traditional lost-wax method, the piece is hollow with an open base and visible interior pour plug, consistent with workshop production techniques.
The bronze has developed a naturally aged surface patina with areas of verdigris, enhancing its sculptural character. Likely made as an altar or architectural devotional element.
