This type of piece was especially popular during the Victorian era, inspired by the art and architecture of the 16th and 17th centuries. The overall structure, with its use of columns, pilasters, and a pediment-like top, mimics classical architecture. The upper portion features a pair of glass doors opening onto three wood shelves.
