The chairs have warm medium-brown hardwood frames with a naturally aged finish. The carved arms are the standout feature, curving forward from the back posts and terminating in expressive dolphin or serpent-like heads. The arms sit on scrolling carved supports that continue into the seat rails, giving the chairs a really distinctive sculptural quality.

Both chairs have slightly reclined upholstered backs and generously padded seats covered in a neutral textured fabric that works nicely with the warm wood. Tapered, gently curved legs feature additional carved detailing at the knees and along the front legs. See less
