Screen print realized by Guy Harloff in 1970s. Hand signed and numbered in pencil. Edition of 25. Very good condition. A vivid and theatrically staged composition by Guy Harloff, dominated by a saturated magenta ground and animated by the artist’s recurring iconography of ritual objects, candles and watchful eyes. The scene is structured around emblematic forms and fragmentary inscriptions—including a prominent “E.” and the word “CHAIR”—arranged like props on a symbolic stage. Mirrors, suspended implements and flame motifs punctuate the composition, while repeated eyes embedded throughout create a sense of heightened perception and metaphysical presence. Executed in strong, poster-like colour with bold black contours, the print exemplifies Harloff’s distinctive blend of surreal suggestion, poetic text and ceremonial atmosphere—hallmarks of his mature graphic production.
