Large 20th century Wall hanging, possibly from Norway and early 20th century. Depicting a woodland landscape with birds, plants and trees in warm brown, green and purple shades. Weaved with an transparent technique that leaves spaces between threads, this technique was invented by Norweigan weaver Frida Hansen in the late 19th century. Very good condition with lightly uneven sides.
