Vintage Majolica Fisherman's Tankard. This tankard or stein features a largemouth bass fish design in vivid colors of blue, green, yellow and brown. This sculptural mug features a beautifully detailed riverside scene, complete with a fisherman in a small boat, rolling water, and a striking three-dimensional fish forming part of the design and handle. This tankard commemorates Mr. Perry's catch of a 22 pound, four ounce bass on June 2,1932 at Montgomery Lake, GA. with writing on the rim and front. The tankard's raised relief details and glossy glaze give it exceptional visual depth and character. Subtle textural elements and storytelling imagery make it both a functional vessel and standout display piece.
This vintage piece will be perfect as a statement barware piece, shelf or bookcase display, or gift for fishing enthusiasts.
