Crafted from solid hardwood with beautifully sculpted joinery, the chair exemplifies Kjærnulf’s refined approach to organic modernism—balancing strength and lightness through its softly curved back rail and distinctive wishbone-style support. The warm, well-preserved wood shows a rich patina that speaks to careful use and quality materials.

The Danish paper cord seat has been professionally replaced and hand-woven to the original specification by Irwin’s in Arizona (July 2025), using traditional techniques that honor the original design while ensuring decades of continued comfort and durability.
