They … Read more This is an exquisite set of 12 antique Tiffany & Co. sterling silver spoons in their original presentation/gift box. They are all stamped TIFFANY & CO. STERLING PAT 1868. They each measure 6" in length and the widest part of the spoon is 1.25". They each weigh 36 grams which is a total of 432 grams of sterling silver.
The box is like a hard pressed whiteish paper lined with an antique white silk. The inside of the box lid is marked TIFFANY & CO NEW-YORK PARIS LONDON in a metallic gold printing on the pleated silk. The spoons hover or float in the box from a raised support by the middle of the handle. The spoons are all monogrammed with a fancy Old English B. The box has a brass turning knob that opens and securely closes tight and the spine of the box is excellent. What an amazing gift this would be to open and see this presentation. All of the spoons are in super condition and show very few signs of ever being used. It's possible that they have been secured in this box for a long time without much use. See less
