Crafted from solid wood, it is distinguished by its clean, balanced lines. Its reclining backrest allows for adjustable comfort thanks to a ratchet mechanism integrated into the wide, overhanging armrests. The new, generously padded, high-density cushions are upholstered in a soft, warm bouclé fabric. Created in Victorian England and popularized by William Morris in the 1860s, these models were among the first modern reclining armchairs and are emblematic of the Arts & Crafts movement. See less
