This original Baroque commode from around 1780 is a truly impressive work of art and a testament to masterful craftsmanship. In very good, tidy, and remarkably original condition with minor age-related imperfections/wear, it retains the charm and elegance of the Baroque era. The elaborate marquetry is the central design element of this commode. The coffered inlays on the front, sides, and top demonstrate the highest precision and attention to detail. The artistic inlays were crafted from fine woods such as plum, fruitwood, and walnut veneer, giving the piece a unique and harmonious color scheme.
