The quality is fantastic, they are very useful for reaching high shelves, and also make great side tables / decorative items. The frame is finely constructed, and the steps have inset tooled leather surfaces.

We have had these recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age. The wood has a wonderful patina with some minor marks and bumps remaining under the polish here and there, commensurate for age.

The brass topped pole that stands above the steps can be lifted out, so this breaks down into a smaller size for ease of transport.
