This church is modest but historically rich parish church known for its medieval features, particularly brasses like those of Sir John and Lady de Creke. Two of the three brass rubbed images are of Sir John and Lady Ayelene of Creke and the other is of priest from Tattlershall, Lincolnshire, England. The trio draws from gothic + medieval iconography that was created in the 12th century for the church after Sir John was Knighted and the rubbing was from the 20th century. Each rubbing is set against a dark back ground that allow for intricate line work of the brass to stand out beautifully. Overall the triptych is in good condition with minimal signs of wear for their usage. See less
