This pair of deer - a grazing doe and a guardian buck - came from the estate of collectors near New Orleans. They are the largest examples of these deer that we have come across. The brass is polished and has a lovely aged patina.
The buck is a 6 point and the die is gracefully grazing. The pair is perfect for a fire place display during the holidays.
There is no makers mark.
The buck stands 23.5”h and the doe is 13”h
