Likely early 20th C. American, but with a British aesthetic.

9" wide, 7" tall, 5" across the top of the hat cylinder. Oval Shape of course, with perfectly round center column.

Nice weight - substantial enough to measure up to any use or display.

Probably American - from the late 19th / early 20th Century when decorative glass production was at its peak.

Can be positioned upright or upside down - balances either way.

Great fun and beautifully finished!

This is the coolest thing! Beautifully formed with a nice weight, it does everything...candy and chips dish, plant pot, napkin holder, and - yes - even a hat rack.

We picked this up on a whim thinking it would be good for steeplechase races and holiday decor, and now it never goes back in the closet - moving around our home performing a myriad of useful roles with a smile. See less
