Portuguese Artisan Painted Ceramic Platters - a set of six with unique takes on a shared image.
12" wide by 8" tall standing .5" off the table.
Beautiful blue on white with a gorgeous floral bloom centerpiece image.
We believe the are Mid 20th Century. Unsigned - but fired and finished as very nice porcelain / ceramics should be.
Would be a wonderful accessory to use in a "mixed" table of several patterns - this would seek to many other porcelains and table top ware but still retain its independence.

We've brought many treasures home from holiday in Portugal and Spain - and these are a discovery near Lisbon a few years ago.
Oval shaped platters? Elegant and unique artisan brushed floral images? Two tone soft blues? A proper set of six?
Into the carry luggage they went and home they came! Particularly wonderful with fish and dinner salads in our experience - and we've even used them as serving pieces at holidays a time or two. We've never seen anything else quite like them!
