This striking sphere-shaped vase is a beautiful example of authentic Chulucanas pottery from Northern Peru, signed by the artist Jose Sosa. It features the region's distinct "negative" resist technique, creating a pattern of warm terracotta polka dots against a deep, satin-black background achieved through mango leaf smoke reduction.
