This box was passed by my granddad to my father. He kept his correspondence from doctors that work with him in this box.
I kept my tv remotes, and electronics manuals.
Not only is a beautiful piece of furniture but also very useful. Wonderful with a lamp on top, flowers, China, very decorative and elegant. Please, look at the Mother of Pearl detail around the boxes edges. In 1980. I was given the box and had the stand made by an antique’s restorer.
The top of the box has a few subtle water mark stains that may need some work, and a hardly visible scratch. These are part of the aging of this lovely box. I have taken that into consideration in the price.
