A poster from the Tate Modern featuring an image after a work by the artistic duo Gilbert and George. Titled "Red Morning Trouble," the image depicts black and white images of Gilbert and George in suits, deep in contemplation, among pictures of skylines and nature. The grid of images come together to form a red cross surrounded by grey. The poster is marked on the lower edge.
Gilbert Proush (born 1942) and George Passmore (born 1943) are artists who have been working together for over 50 years on a variety of projects including performance art and photo-based pieces. They met studying sculpture at Saint Martin's School of Art in England in 1967 and have been married since 2008. Their work has been featured in galleries around the world and have been in the private collections of other artists including David Bowie.
