Marcel GROMAIRE Macbeth, Shakespeare: Omens, Black Horse and Night Owls, 1958 Original etching Signed in pencil Limited to 60 unnumbered copies On Montval laid paper 38x28.5 cm References: François Gromaire n° 187 to 206, Monod n° 10289 Information: This work is one of the sixty albums (out of the one hundred and eighty copies) which include a suite of twenty original etchings, signed by the artist. The printing of these etchings was executed by Raymond HAASEN. The brass have been scratched after drawing. Very good state This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
