They include a small basket at the top for warming, the rim impressed with a geometric pattern that is repeated on the column and contrasted by the twisted detail of the rods. Scrolled elements curl outward from the pillars attaching multiple spit hooks to adjust for cooking temperatures. Decorative scrollwork in between the arched legs are reminiscent of fleur-de-lis to underscore the French-made origins of these sculptural fireplace tools. Designed as a complementary pair, each andiron is the mirror image of the other with an offset hind leg supported by a spike. Note that the stylized dragon heads remain intact but one of the rings is missing from the left. Please view the detailed images to see more. Sold as a pair. See less
