Featuring a unique egg shape with removeable lid. The piece is finished in a lustrous black lacquer with small eggshell fragments arranged in scroll patterns around the perimeter. Numerous layers of lacquer are applied to build up the surface until it is smooth and can be polished to a high sheen. The interior is finished in matching black lacquer. Unmarked. See less
