This came from a group of Italian fabrics … Read more A fabulous piece of early silk embroidery on a canvas/burlap type fabric. This came from a group of Italian fabrics I bought many years ago. I was going to frame it but never did. The colors are still vibrant and the stitching wonderful. There are some stray threads on the side. I really don't know the age but am guessing mid to late 18th century. It was made in two pieces with each side similar. See less
