A Fine Antique Pennsylvania Country Sheraton 2 Drawer Side Table, Circa 1820's
Made in Pennsylvania circa 1820-1830's
Found in Chester County, Pennsylvania
Nicely turned legs, with a overside top, with an overhang, presumably originally used as a sewing stand. Reeded flat columns on the front, with 2 mahogany crotch grain veneered drawers. retains what appears to be the original turned wooded knobs. Made from mixed woods. Cherry case sides, Maple legs, Tulip Poplar top, Pine and Poplar drawer linings, and Mahogany drawer fronts.
Size: 23 3/4” wide, 19” deep, 25 1/2” tall
Condition: Older dark varnish finish over the original finish. Finish loss on the top from age and use. Lots of patina, nice dark colour. Use and wear marks are consistent with age and use.
