Conceived as a … Read more A rare vintage mirrored surround designed by Parisian designer Jean-Rémy Couradette and produced in France in 2003. Conceived as a removable, freestanding decorative structure, the piece reflects an early-2000s French approach to refined interior architecture and custom design.

The surround is composed of four custom-built vertical panels, each fully clad in individually hand-cut, diamond-shaped mirrored glass elements. The faceted geometric arrangement creates a sculptural relief that captures and reflects light, giving the piece a strong yet elegant visual presence.

The structure is designed as an independent decorative envelope intended to visually frame a central element, while remaining fully removable and adaptable to different interior contexts. Minor technical adjustments were carried out over time without altering the original design, materials, or overall character.
