Decades later, in 1965, Italian Cassina acquired the exclusive production rights and started reissuing these chairs. From that date on the formerly unmarked chairs were signed and engraved with a serial number.
The previous owner bought these chairs in the 1960s and had the chairs professionally restored approximately 10-15 years ago.
Chairs have no labels and/or engraved marks, although on the bottom of the seats some remnants of such can be seen.
The chairs have a heavy chrome frame in excellent condition without oxidation. The upholstery in a lush buttery leather is in great condition without tears, deep damage and/or discolorations.
A fine eye for details is shown in the finishing touches of the design. For instance the seating cushions are attached with small, hidden carabiners, not double, but triple stitching is used and the heavy, chrome plating that is applied.
