This Mark Rothko rare vintage 2006 Abstract Expressionist lithograph print custom framed Modernist fine art poster " Untitled " 1960-1961, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The fine art poster print is published by Acte III S.A., Allee Kennedy 6, 5650 Chastres, Belgium. printed in 2006 in Belgium in an unnumbered limited edition. Mark Rothko ( 1903 - 1970 ) is an American Modernist painter of Russian Jewish descent. Although Rothko himself refused to adhere to any art movement, he is generally defined as an Abstract Expressionist. His bold use of color fields make the artworks impressively iconic and highly individual. Rothko is considered to be one of the most important and influential American painters of The Twentieth Century. Artworks by Rothko are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print framed Abstract Expressionist lithograph print Modernist poster measures 24 1/4" W X 32 3/8" W X 1 3/8" D.
It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern matte brushed finish bronze tone metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and very light minor wear in the margin border area. It is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price.
