A Very Nice Antique Mahogany Camelback Window Settee, English, Circa 1920’s
Most likely made in the UK, circa 1920's
Styled after early Chippendale or Hepplewhite sofas
Mahogany legs, with a hardwood frame. The bench is quite heavy for its size. Super nice camelback frame, with undulating scrolled arms. A very shapely piece. integrated cushion on the seat. Pink coloured upholstered coverings. Front legs are moulded, back legs are plain.
Size: 49" wide, 17" deep, 31 1/2" tall, and 16" seat height.
Condition: The upholstery is clean, but should be deep cleaned prior to use, or replaced. Use and wear marks and some sun fading to the upholstery. The frame is very tight, with very little movement. unusually heavy weight for the size. Some use and wear marks, bumps/dings scuffs/scratches on the legs from use and age.
