Crafted from solid wood with hand-carved detailing, these chairs feature traditional six-way hand-caned seats and turned stretchers.

Three of the chairs are identical, while the fourth features a slightly different carved motif beneath the seat rail. This subtle variation is consistent with hand-crafted production of the period and does not detract from the overall cohesion of the set.

The chairs retain their original patina and show age-appropriate wear consistent with over a century of use, including surface wear to the finish. The cane seats appear to be traditionally woven rather than modern replacement cane. All chairs are structurally sound and present well.
