Reminiscent of a traditional French style porcelain baker, but this one is ceramic made in America by California Pottery. Excellent condition, wear consistent with age and use. No chips, cracks nor repairs. There is some edge roughness on a small part of the inside edge of the lid (please enlarge and examine photos) and a tiny flake to the bottom of the foot rim. These are minute, not visible and do not affect use. Darling for year-round display on a kitchen shelf and an extra festive addition to any Spring/Easter tablescape. Measurements (taken with the lid on): approx. 10.75 inches long and 8 inches deep and 8.5 inches high to the tip of the ear.
