A stunning copper and brass Dutch Coal Scuttle or Umbrella Stick Stand. Circa Early to Mid 20th Century. The copper body is accented with brass embellishments on the spout, handle. 5 KAN plate and the base. The 5 KAN refers to a Dutch measurement with one KAN equivalent to about one liter. Today these striking scuttles make beautiful holders for dried botanicals and flowers or as an umbrella stand.
